RECIPE:

Cumin and Onion Marinade

This is delicious when used on any of our steaks but you an also use on joints for a twist on a traditional roast. The quantities below are based on using a kilogram of meat.

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • juice 2 limes
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cumin seed
  • 1 tbsp chilli flakes
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

You simply combine all the ingredients together. Season your meat (on both/all sides) and then pour the marinade all over the beef and cover. As long as you keep the meat chilled, you can leave it marinating for up to a day. Remove from the fridge about an hour before cooking.
